About Me
I was raised in Roseville, where I attended Roseville Area Public Schools and maintained a “secret tree” in Central Park. As a proud resident of Shoreview, I seek to carry on the great work of our district within the legislature. This is where my wife and I will raise our family and where we intend to grow old. This is where we both agreed to stand up and fight for the common good of all Minnesotans.
Outside of the legislature, I work at a local law firm as a Pro Bono Specialist, supporting the firm’s pro bono program and increasing access to justice within the metro and across the state! Highlights of my work there include coordinating biennial Nonpartisan Election Protection efforts with Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, administering ongoing Pro Bono Housing Law programs with Volunteer Lawyers Network, and supporting a Nonprofit & Small Business Legal Clinic! Prior to working at the firm, I received my Masters Degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
In the 2025-2026 Legislative Biennium, I served on the Agriculture Policy & Finance, Environment and Natural Resources Policy & Finance, and Education Policy Committees. My work has focused on supporting worker protections, preserving environmental integrity, helping small food farmers, and reducing administrative burdens in our schools. In every decision, I kept in mind that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of intervention.
In my spare time, I love playing with our three cats, reading science fiction and fantasy novels, playing Dungeons & Dragons, writing, emotionally investing far too much into the Minnesota Vikings and conducting DIY house projects!
I look forward to meeting and learning more about you!
